With our Mission of being “Stewards of the Land” we strive to develop a true regenerative farm, cultivating a variety of seasonal vegetable and fruit crops, organically grown, while having livestock contribute to the farm’s nutritional health.
The key to success in regenerative farming is diversity. Livestock mobility and a mixture of many types of vegetables and fruits work together to constantly bring carbon and nitrogen back into the soil.
Our goal is that within five years The Riverview Farm will be recognized as a jewel of our region, providing farm to table “Appalachian Grown” vegetables, fruits, and grass fed beef, and to be a destination venue for weddings, corporate events, and agritourism.
While the initial goal of The Riverview Farm is to develop and maintain a genuine regenerative farm, the access to open fields over the 33-acre area creates many possibilities for the benefit of vacationers, professionals, educators, environmentalists and outdoor enthusiasts.
Aside from progressively developing a broad array of regenerative multi-vegetable crops and raising organically raised livestock, The Riverview Farm offers many possibilities for outside events and agritourism. The Riverview Farm would be able to accommodate event pre-qualified vendors for all types of outdoor events.
Regarding vacationing, and as a complement to the present Farmhouse Vacation Rental, camping grounds nearby the French Broad River will be developed, as well as the availability to rent Tiny Houses and Tree Houses, strategically placed throughout the open property.
